The SK200-002 Energy Management Kit is a stand-alone system for controlling HVAC units based on occupancy detection. This system utilizes occupancy sensing technology and sophisticated logic control software to verify the occupancy status of rooms. When a room is physically occupoed, the system will allow the occupant to operate the HVAC system. When vacant, the SK200-002 system will automatically shut off unnecessary HVAC operation to reduce energy consumption.
Included in this system:
| SD200-002 | Master Sensor & Controller (Time-based). The SD200-002 consists of a high sensitivity passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor and microprocessor with intelligent logic control software in an aesthetically pleasing housing. It should be mounted on the wall or ceiling (corner mount recommended) to detect human presence by sensing the movement of body heat energy. In addition to this, it also provides various operation settings and component connections of the system. To avoid the room becoming too hot or too cold during an unoccupied period (which would require excessive time and energy to cool down or warm up), the SD200-001 features high and low temperature limiting. The HVAC unit is activated if the room exceeds the set range. |
| SF200-001 | Power Pack: This provides 24 VDC power supply for the SD200-001 and also controls the operation of the HVAC unit. |
